VANCOUVER, BC - September 28, 2005 - PhotoChannel Networks Inc. (TSX-V: PNI and OTCBB: PHCHF) ("PhotoChannel") today announced it has formed a partnership with Summus Inc. (OTCBB: SMMU), a leading provider of mobile media applications. "Summus currently has relationships with carriers that account for 97% of all U.S. wireless subscribers," said PNI Chairman and CEO Peter Fitzgerald. "By working together the two companies will deliver these users the ability to upload photos and print them directly to any PNI retailer location, right from their mobile handset. "As the next generation of one-mega pixel camera phones hit the market, Summus has the right product mix, brand and carrier partners in place to maintain our leading position in this emerging sector. Our partnership with PNI reflects our commitment to the developing camera phone market and personalization of the cell phone."

IDC forecasts that there will be 96 million MMS (multimedia messaging) subscribers in 2007, with the majority of those using camera phones. IDC also forecasts that the number of camera phones shipped worldwide will increase to 298 million in 2007. According to Future Image Mobile Imaging Report in
